The XB series milling machine without pressure beam is an advanced and efficient new milling equipment independently developed and manufactured by our company, and it is the only product to have obtained a national utility model patent issued by the State Patent Office. It is widely used in equipment manufacturing in industries such as pressure vessels, boilers, shipbuilding, large formwork and machinery, steel structures, power, and chemicals, and is particularly suitable for milling special alloy plates and new materials, as well as for pre-welding processing of plates.
Equipment Composition:
The equipment mainly consists of the following parts: (1) machine bed, (2) worktable (with electromagnetic chuck), (3) guide rail, (4) lifting column, (5) milling power head, (6) power trolley, (7) milling cutter head, (8) electrical control box, (9) lubrication device, (10) conductive device, (11) protective device, (12) positioning device, (13) material support device, (14) paint, (15) cutting tool cutter head.
Structural Features:
1. The machine bed is constructed from high-quality carbon steel plates, with a seamless welded design and rational layout. This ensures a robust structure, enhanced rigidity, and convenient transportation. Furthermore, it undergoes overall aging treatment to effectively eliminate internal stress. The bed is designed as a suspended type with parallel vertical guide rails, providing a single reference surface after machining, guaranteeing straightness during actual cutting (compared to base-type and suspended combinations which have two reference surfaces, this design better ensures straightness).
2. The table uses electromagnetic chucks to fix the workpiece, offering convenient operation and ample installation space. Each chuck measures 220×400mm (width x length), with 6 chucks arranged along the length, effectively reducing the table's suction distance.
3. Segmented Fully Hardened Guide Rails: (Top-of-the-line configuration) Guide rail dimensions: 40*80*600mm, material: 40CrMo, integrally quenched and tempered, high-frequency hardened to a hardness of HRC48-50, precision ground to ensure accurate segmented splicing. If the equipment has been used for an extended period, the guide rails can be removed for repair or replacement to restore accuracy and extend the equipment's lifespan; straightness not exceeding 0.40mm/3000mm.
4. Lifting Column: The column is bolted to the slide. The slide is made of high-strength cast iron (HT-250), integrally cast and then machined. The slide can move left and right on the bed guide rails, while the column can move forward and backward perpendicularly to the bed. The lifting slide screw on the column is driven by a motor and reducer to achieve electric lifting and lowering, or manual lifting. Limit switches are installed on both the upper and lower sides of the lifting column to ensure that the power head does not exceed its travel range due to operator negligence during lifting, thus preventing accidents.
